It's hard for us to articulate all that a hiker can encounter here. You have to imagine that at the end of the world and even beyond it there is a village on a mountain, which with some of its inhabitants offers a magical sight, and almost in the middle of which there is a real Szekler gatehouse, next to which there is a barn built for animals, where we are now waiting for our guests. The 4-bedroom comfortable and well-equipped home offers a unique experience to our guests, not to mention the features of the room. We look forward to welcoming you.

Siklódi Kő Guesthouse - Coal Storage Apartment

Our guesthouse is located on the edge of the Salt Region in the valley of the Siklódi Creek. It belongs to Etéd administratively. It can be reached by turning off at Makfalva by touching Szolokma and Küsmöd from the road connecting Balavásár to Szovát, and on county road 135 from the direction of Székelykeresztúr. Distance from Székelykeresztúr: 32 km, distance from Makfalva: 16 km. Our Guesthouse is located in the center of Siklód. There is a renovated gymnastic house, a hay storage and a barn in the courtyard of our guest house.

Our over a hundred-year old converted Transylvanian barn provides silent environment in a small, rural village of the Csík-basin in the Eastern Carpathians. You can enjoy our garden by having a barbecue or just spending a relaxing hour in the swing chair. The interieur is furnished with items from the old house, others were collected from the surrounding villages. This historic site, formerly used as a village-style olive oil factory, has been restored over three years to its current state. It consists of three buildings (oil mill, house, stable), all adjacent. The 120 square meter garden is surrounded by a 4-meter wall Transportation is required. It is 30 minutes from Troy and 10 kilometers from Assos. The nearest sea is 5 minutes away by car, and other bays are 15-20 minutes away. You can find excellent fish and meat dishes in the surrounding area.

Barn Cottage

Barn cottage is situated up on the hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the village of Bran, but close enough to walk there in 20 minutes. Barn Cottage is suitable for two adults. We are not equipped or have the possibility to offer accommodation to families with children and do not accept guests with pets. We have a non smoking rule inside the cottage. If you do smoke outdoors on the patio please make sure you tidy up after yourself.
