We are in the tranquil Western Lake District National Park close to the Coast to Coast bike route and with plenty of walking right from the door. Your comfortable ensuite bedroom and own breakfast / sitting room is upstairs so has gorgeous views across to woods and fells. The bedroom can be set up as two singles or one kingsize bed. We can provide a delicious basket of local and home-made food for a help-yourself- breakfast for £5 per person. There is parking and a garage for storing bikes.

A cosy annexe just off the Hadrian's Wall path in Stanwix, Carlisle. You may wish to use nearby eateries or make yourself something in the kitchenette (small airfryer, microwave, fridge, hotplate, kettle and toaster provided) we welcome those who wish for a place to stay. A double bed and en suite shower awaits in fresh comfortable surroundings. Open to all but please be aware of access arrangements to the property -access up a lane. Stunning views of Ullswater... Very special... Perfect... Well equipped... Spotless and clean... Fantastic host... No picture of our panoramic view can really do justice to The Garden Flat. But we hope those words from our most recent reviews do. The flat is in an elevated 19th century former hunting lodge. The Ullswater Way walking route is at the end of the drive. Down the hill is the Brackenrigg Inn, with its own microbrewery, and Another Place, with lake swimming and spa facilities.

Within walking distance of the city centre, castle, cathedral, beautiful parklands and an abundance of bars and restaurants. 10 minutes from the train station and even closer to the bus station. Located in a quiet residential building. A lift serves the building and parking is available for one med. vehicle. No large vans please.

Our modern one bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor of a lovely Victorian townhouse on a quiet street a few minutes walk from the City centre, and within walking distance of Carlisle train & bus station. Free on street parking between 6pm and 8am with limited street parking outwith those hours. Cecil Street pay & display car park is a few minutes walk away.
