Binnen is het knus en sfeervol ingericht dankzij de haard en vele decoraties. Buiten kun je heerlijk ontspannen onder de veranda of op het zonneterras in de avondzon.

The apartment is one large space of 140m2. Upon arrival, you will come up the spiral staircase and immediately approach the lovely 100m2 private roof terrace with built-in Jacuzzi. The house is furnished in a relaxed American style; think of Chesterfield sofas and a large projector with a good sound system. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with kitchenware and standard consumables. There is no separate bedroom, the 2 double beds are behind curtains. The bathroom has a spacious shower.

With great enthusiasm, we have renovated our old mansion and restored it to its original state. On the bell floor, we have created an apartment that we now rent out. The house is located in a lively neighborhood, a 5-minute walk to the city center and a 4-minute walk to the train station, from where you can reach Amsterdam Centraal in 34 minutes. The holiday house is located on the North Holland Canal. The house is not very quiet, but cozy and centrally located to Alkmaar, Bergen and Schoorl. Very suitable for girlfriend clubs, bicycle clubs and families, who do not want to be in a holiday park. The house has many original details, which makes it atmospheric and characteristic. The house is connected to the owner's home, but there is plenty of privacy and a spacious private garden.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.

Beautiful vacation home in a quiet area located on the North Holland Canal. The rustic character of this house fits well in the area. In the front garden, there is a beautiful chestnut tree after which the BnB is named. From under the tree, you have a nice view of the canal and the meadows and dunes behind it. All the ingredients for a wonderful and relaxing stay!
