The building features plaster walls, a rice husk floor, and Mie Prefecture cypress, creating a gentle space unique to natural materials. You can also experience harvesting pesticide-free vegetables at Rokugatsu Farm (reservation required). You can also enjoy dishes made with freshly picked vegetables and Matsusaka beef from a nearby butcher shop. Farm Stay AMAYADORI Here, Kumano City, Mie Prefecture is a rural village with mountains, rivers, fields, and Japan's original scenery. And we are a small farmer who grows rice and multi-product vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We provide the rice and vegetables we have grown during your stay, as well as fresh eggs grown in Kumano. The kitchen of the house is also equipped with condiments and cooking utensils. We hope you will enjoy cooking with us. It is also the only place in Japan with a rafting course nearby.Please enjoy the unspoiled Japanese landscapes. My guidebook contains information about the surrounding area. "Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
