Welcome to our little treasure on one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Ærø was and is a popular destination for sailors. Boats and water have belonged together for hundreds of years. Our house was once a fisherman's house. In 2019 everything was extensively refurbished. The house offers relaxing tranquility, and yet lies in the middle of the action. Perfect for two couples or one couple with two kids. (Please look at the room- & bedsituation. Not a perfect fit for four single adults.)

Nostalgi med havudsigt fra 1802

Charmerende bindingsværkshus med stråtag og skøn beliggenhed. Huset rummer tre dejlige soveværelser, badeværelse, køkken, entré og hyggelig stue. Nyd den lukkede have med kig til vandet. Kun 200 meter til Gendarmstien og den hyggelige havn. Skov lige i baghaven. Video af boligen kan ses på youtube ved at søge på Toften 16. Da huset er fra 1800-tallet, har det bevaret sin originale charme – herunder en lidt lavere loftshøjde end moderne byggeri. Gæster over 180 cm bør være opmærksomme på dette.

Feriestemningen starter allerede når du kører over dæmningen til den smukke halvø Kegnæs. Med udsigt til Lillehav fyldt med Kitesurfere på den ene side og lillebælt på den anden, er du klar til at nyde dit ferieophold. Kegnæs byder på en smuk natur, der indbyder til cykel- og vandreture, lystfiskeri og vandsport. Er du mere til ren afslapning, kan du nyde den fredelige idyl og smukke natur i Østerby hvor vores dejlige sommerhus ligger med under 100m til en skøn og uforstyrret badestrand.

It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!
