The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Mama Jen’s Platte River Getaway

This unique cabin that sleeps 14+ is nestled in the trees on the banks of the platte river. There is plenty of room outdoors to hike, kayak, & just relax next to the fire pit with river access just steps away from the front door. The cabin has a master bedroom, a bunk room to sleep 6 with an additional sofa sleeper, & a loft queen bedroom. The living room has a big sectional plus a giant bean bag that can sleep more. The cabin is stocked with everything you need other than yourself & groceries!

Located just a couple of miles outside of Elkhorn & directly on the Elkhorn River, this is a nature-lovers haven! Local restaurants, shopping & other amenities in Elkhorn, Omaha & Waterloo are within a few minutes drive! Our place is a smoke & pet free home! Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only.

Looking for a place just outside of Lincoln to unplug and relax? This cabin sits nestled on 80 acres overlooking a little lake with fishing, boating and kayaking available. Watch the prettiest sunrises and sunsets on the patio or from inside through the abundant windows. There is a full kitchen, a living room with a smart TV, strong WiFi, updated bathroom, 3 sets of bunkbeds and a queen-sized bed. Perfect for a girl's trip, guy's fishing retreat, Husker football game weekend and so much more!

Rustic Cabin Retreat

Quiet, secluded area has occasional wildlife (turkey, deer). The Turkey Creek runs behind the cabin, and there is a very small pond in the front of the cabin that can be fished. There's a kid's "fort" to the west of the main cabin for the kids to enjoy! The fort has a space heater, a loft with a futon, and a smart TV (no TV service) that can be used for streaming if you want to use your phone’s hotspot.. The cabin has no TV service or internet service.....thus the beauty of this retreat!!

It has all the amenities of home with a couple miles of mowed trails in the trees that lead you to a pond for fishing and reflection and the Platte River for beautiful scenery and playing in when the water is low in the summer! This lodge celebrates our hunting heritage and displays many animals harvested on or near this property.
