You can chill in a picturesque location or as we have a self-drive license you can cruise either north or south from our base in Croxley, Hertfordshire. South takes you down to London in a couple of days or North takes you up through some wonderful countryside towards Berkhamstead and Aylesbury. A holiday with a difference.

60ft narrowboat, sleeps 6, central Oxford

Beautiful 60ft traditional narrow boat on the river, 240v is only available when the engine is running. We have wifi and external cctv. It is clean, warm, safe and has a chemical boat loo. The beds are all very comfortable and consist of one main double & bunk and one sofa bed, all in separate rooms. The boat is mainly on the river and we have a wide plank for access, making the boat unsuitable for wheelchairs, elderly or infirm. The boat has been on Inspector Lewis. The boat is NOT a hotel.

Built in 1929, Reminder offers an unusual and memorable venue for weekend stays, moored on Maldon's Hythe Quay. Ideally placed for exploring rural Essex with sea wall walks, a lovely High Street and riverside pubs. Mostly two night minimum stay, but requests for one night considered.
